Skyway has opened an office in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, adding capacity to facilitate strategic growth objectives– this will be the first satellite office for the firm.
The new office opens with four employees and a move to grow the team quickly. “Atlanta is a thriving, growing market and considered the capital of the south with Buckhead the financial center of Atlanta,” according to Rob Woomer, Skyway’s Senior Managing Director and an Atlanta-based team member who helps lead the managing broker-dealer network. “We’re excited to have brick n’ mortar space, particularly in the Terminus 100 building with its great amenity package and plenty of collaborative space that will facilitate attracting a best-in-class workforce to drive the company forward.”
Skyway is an investment banking firm with two main lines of business, including sell-side M&A representation for family- and founder-owned businesses; and providing market leading managing broker/dealer services that include origination, structuring and wholesale distribution of high-quality alternative investment vehicles to the Independent Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor communities.
Skway’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Managing Director Greg Mausz believes the current market conditions are ripe for expansion of Skyway’s core businesses, “In contrast to recent headlines portending a looming recession, our business shows no signs of slowing down. There’s a very active ecosystem for investors looking into alternative investments to diversify their portfolio. We are busier than ever and looking forward to getting settled in Atlanta.”
