Skyway Capital Markets is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Schuetz as Senior Vice President where he will lead institutional sales efforts and drive market expansion within the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Family Office sectors.
With over a decade of experience in alternative investment wholesaling and business development, Schuetz has a strong track record of raising capital and building lasting relationships in the financial sector.
Prior to joining Skyway Capital Markets, Schuetz served as Vice President of Business Development at Palmer Square Capital Management, where he led distribution efforts for investment products across the Midwest and Central U.S. His expertise spans structured, corporate, and private credit, with a particular focus on CLO debt and equity strategies.
Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Tortoise Capital as Regional Vice President, managing the distribution of investment products—including SMAs, interval funds, private funds, and 40 Act Funds—to financial advisors and institutional clients. His leadership contributed to record-breaking sales, generating more than $150 million in new business year over year.

Schuetz holds FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. In addition to his financial industry experience, he has held key business development roles in the telecommunications, logistics, and health industries, further strengthening his expertise in sales, client relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives.
