Phillip Jensen serves as Managing Director, primarily focused on Skyway’s capital formation and fundraising activities for one of its sponsors, where Jensen will also serve as Head of Capital Markets.

 This unique Skyway/Sponsor arrangement reflects Skyway’s long-term strategy to solidify itself as a full-service firm that can offer different tiers of service customized to each client – from managing broker-dealer to product wholesaling to full-service capital markets build out.

Mr. Jensen most recently worked as the Managing Director of National Accounts for APX Energy from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, Mr. Jensen worked as the Director of Capital Markets for Ascendant Capital from 2016 to 2018. Mr. Jensen began his capital raising career with Hines Real Estate Investments from 2004 to 2016 in various marketing roles for Hines Real Estate Investments and its affiliated broker-dealer, Hines Securities, most recently serving (from 2011 to 2016) as Senior Account Manager for Hines Securities. In his leadership roles, Mr. Jensen helped these businesses raise over $7 billion in capital in various real estate, private equity, BDC, and energy offerings. Mr. Jensen began his career with AIG as a management consultant and then as a licensed financial advisor at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.

Mr. Jensen holds an MBA from Lamar University and was selected to be a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon, the National Honorary Professional Management Fraternity. He also holds his BAAS degree from Lamar University, certifications in project management from George Washington University, and a certification as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist from the College of Financial Planning. In addition, he maintains FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 securities licenses.
