Skyway today announced the appointment of Amy Arnold as Senior Managing Director & Head of Product Development, where she will lead the firm’s newly launched 1031 Exchange Delaware Statutory Trust (“DST”) platform.
Arnold brings more than two decades of experience in alternative investments, spanning due diligence, product development, operations, compliance, marketing, relationship management and financial professional education. Throughout her career, she has evaluated hundreds of alternative investment offerings across real estate, DSTs, private placements, opportunity zones, energy investments, private funds, REITs and other alternative investment strategies — experience that spans both product distribution and broker-dealer platform oversight.
Most recently, Arnold served as Chief Due Diligence Officer at Concorde Investment Services, where she oversaw sponsor and product due diligence and played a key role in evaluating and bringing institutional-quality DST offerings to market. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions with various sponsors and broker-dealers where she was responsible for product due diligence, alternative investment platform management and promotion, advisor training, compliance oversight and sponsor relations.
“As we continue to expand our alternative investment offerings, launching a 1031 Exchange program was a natural next step,” said Rob Woomer, Chief Executive Officer of Skyway Capital Markets. “Our goal is to provide our financial advisor network with high-quality 1031 exchange solutions while delivering another capital formation strategy for our sponsor partners. Amy’s deep experience in due diligence and product development makes her the ideal person to lead this initiative.”
“I am excited to join Skyway Capital Markets and help build its DST platform,” Arnold said. “Skyway has established strong relationships with high-quality real estate sponsors and has built an outstanding alternative investment distribution platform. I look forward to developing a best-in-class 1031 exchange program that delivers thoughtfully structured investment opportunities for financial professionals and their clients.”
Arnold is an active voice within the alternative investment industry and frequently participates in industry conferences, educational events, panel discussions and speaking engagements. She currently serves as a member of the ADISA Board of Directors, helping shape industry dialogue on due diligence, product governance, advisor education and regulatory best practices.
Skyway’s initial DST offerings are expected to feature institutional-quality manufactured housing communities sponsored by FG Communities, a self-administered, self-managed real estate holding company focused on acquiring, owning and operating manufactured housing communities throughout the Southeastern United States. Skyway has previously partnered with FG Communities on both preferred equity and common equity offerings, making the DST platform a natural extension of both firms’ existing relationship.
