Skyway Capital Markets Announces Sale of Aerial Bouquets to SRP Companies

Skyway is pleased to announce the sale of Aerial Bouquets, Inc. to SRP Companies (“SRP”), a portfolio company of private equity firm Aurora Capital Partners. Skyway Capital Markets served as the exclusive investment banker to Aerial Bouquets for this transaction.

Aerial Bouquets is a trusted balloon, accessory and gift supplier primarily serving blue chip clients in the Southeastern U.S. SRP Companies is a leading North American provider of consumer products and single-source retail solutions to 50,000 convenience store, amusement, hospitality, and travel retailers.

“We are looking forward to becoming a part of SRP’s family of companies to help expand our footprint and bring our category expertise to a wider array of retail customers,” said Curt Terrace, President of Aerial Bouquets. “We have built a committed customer base over 40 years and are thrilled about the opportunity to bring our excellent service and strategies for growth to new markets.”

Regarding Skyway’s role in the process, Curt Terrace commented “If you’ve never been through an M&A process like this before, it’s truly impossible to understand what it takes to close a transaction, let alone the ideal transaction, which is what I achieved with Skyway Capital Markets. Having the Skyway team at my side to guide me every step of the way made an incredible difference on a daily, if not hourly, basis. They were always thinking three steps ahead, offering invaluable guidance, and preventing any unnecessary surprises. Skyway’s deep team of knowledgeable experts, working around the clock with an incredible sense of urgency and attention to detail, allowed me to stay focused on my business throughout the process and gave me the confidence to move quickly without hesitation or doubt. They exceeded my expectations in all aspects, including speed and terms. Ultimately, Skyway found the ideal partner in SRP. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone considering a similar transaction.”

Skyway Capital Markets Senior Vice President Jack Murray stated, “We are honored that Curt trusted us to represent him in this important transaction and are incredibly proud that we exceeded his expectations. Skyway’s focus is primarily on family-owned and closely held businesses, and we understand that most of our clients have not gone through a transaction process like this before. We know this is likely the most important business matter our clients will ever undertake and we take that responsibility seriously.”

Roger Overby, Senior Managing Director at Skway Capital Markets, added, “Curt made it clear to us from the beginning that “culture” and “team” were his two biggest priorities in a transaction, as those were the attributes that made his company so successful. I am incredibly proud of our team at Skyway for exceeding Curt’s high expectations, particularly around those two critical factors.”

Skyway Capital Markets CEO Russ Hunt commented, “It was an absolute pleasure to work with Curt and his team. We are so excited to see what is next for Aerial Bouquets and SRP Companies together. This transaction should generate great benefits for Aerial’s employees and customers, respectively.”
